About Kagurabachi Manga

“Kagurabachi” is a new Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono, that follows the journey of Chihiro Rokuhira. Chihiro is the son of a famous blacksmith Kunishige Rokuhira, who crafted six enchanted swords with unique powers. After his father was brutally murdered by a gang of sorcerers “Hishaku”, he was driven by a desire for revenge. Chihiro inherits his father’s seventh and final enchanted sword.

Fueled by grief and a thirst for vengeance, Chihiro sets out to find those responsible for his father’s death. He took his father’s last sword, Enten, and trained himself with it. Along the way, he faces numerous enemies who show off their own mystical weapons and sorcery. As he battles these foes, Chihiro uncovers dark secrets about the world of sorcery and the true nature of his anemies.

Role: Protagonist

Background: Chihiro is a skilled young swordsman and the only son of a renowned swordsmith “Kunishige Rokuhira”. After witnessing his father’s brutal murder, Chihiro is consumed by a desire for revenge. He inherits his father’s final masterpiece named Enten, an enchanted sword with powerful abilities. With Enten, he can create magical projected slashes, increase his physical abilities and absorb energy for the later use.

Personality: Although he is focused and determined for the revange his father’s death. He didn’t allowed civilians to be caught in the crossfire of his battles. He is shown to care deeply for those close to him and is willing to fight to protect them.

Role: Chihiro’s Mentor and Ally

Background: Shiba is an experienced swordsman and a close friend of Kunishige. After his murder, he takes on the role of mentor and protector for Chihiro. He possesses deep knowledge of swordsmanship and was specialized in teleportation. He was an Kamunabi agent, but later he left it for no reason.

Personality: Shiba is wise, calm, and patient, often offering guidance to Chihiro. He shares Chihiro’s desire for justice and helps him navigate the challenges they face.

Role: Supporting Character

Background: Hinao is a talented sorceress who becomes one of Chihiro’s allies on his quest for revenge. She was the owner of Cafe Haru Haru which serves both as a cafe and a way for Hinao to connect sorcerers with the leaders of yakuza who require their services. She helps Shiba and Chihiro gather information about the Hishaku and the Enchanted Blades.

Personality: Hina is intelligent, resourceful, and has a strong sense of justice. She often provides magical support in battles and helps Chihiro uncover the secrets of their enemies.
